Examining the FDD
A Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) is required by the Federal Trade Commission and contains background information about the company across 23 items that cover just about everything you need to know about the franchise. Use this guide to understand each item and take notes as you review.
Important: Please go through the FDD thoroughly and make note of the questions that you have. It is strongly recommended that you have a franchise attorney review the FDD and franchise agreement before making any commitments.
Your notes are automatically saved as you type.
